Browser

Short for Web Browser; an application used to view web pages and navigate Internet sites (also known as a web client or User Agent). Technically, browser uses the Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP) to make requests of Web servers throughout the Internet on behalf of the user. The most commonly used browser is Microsoft's Internet Explorer (MSIE).
